Jason Kahn

Dr. Kahn:
Jason Kahn is an Assoc. Prof. in the Dept. of Chemistry and Biochemistry. His research is in protein-nucleic acid interaction, especially in mechanisms of gene regulation and the design of small protein-DNA loops and DNA packaging agents. He is excited to help apply knowledge from his research and from his teaching of biochemistry and molecular biology to the design and construction of much bigger things.
About Umaryland
UMaryland2014 is University of Maryland, College Parks, inaugural iGEM team. We are a combined effort of several departments and numerous faculty mentors. Although it is only our first year, believe our hard work and dedication has paid off. We can't wait for this years competition! GO TERPS!
