Team Profile

The North Carolina State University Genetic Engineering and Society IGEM team is made up of a diverse group of PhD students whose interests range from genetics to public administration and from entomology to communications. The team’s goal is to create a web-based interactive mapping tool that can be used to address the potential impacts a genetically engineered product has on societal and environmental issues ranging from diseases to food shortages to species decline to job creation, all of which encompass diverse audiences.
