We presented our research and project progress to various groups including other scientists, other college students, and high school students. We also made an effort to work directly with both children and adults in our community, hoping that we would spur interest in the younger minds and allow for a better understanding of genetic engineering.

We can’t stress enough how important Outreach is for groups like iGEM. Cornell iGEM’s goal for the products of our work and progress is that one day they will be incorporated in everyday life and the knowledge associated with them becomes general knowledge. </p>
