Cellock Holmes - A Case of Identity

Welcome to the Aachen 2014 iGEM Wiki!

Current techniques for pathogen detection have many disadvantages as they require expensive equipment, trained personnel or labourious routines.

To overcome the drawbacks of these techniques, the iGEM team Aachen 2014 developed a novel biosensor system called Cellock Holmes that is rapid, inexpensive and mobile.

Our project represents a unique way of combining Open Source biology, software and hardware.
