  <p>First ,We divide our design chart into two parts－exterior and interior. The exterior is just like the appearance of Pyramid ,and the interior is used to equip PBANs and bag for pests. When the harmful insects eat our biobrick, they will release pheromone ,and attract the same species. We first use blue light and the smell of pheromone to attract insect. After they go into our device ,we will take advantages of their characteristic that insects always fly high to escape. And then ,they will be stuck in our device. When we take away the outer shield ,the hock on the outer shield will close the bag ,and the insects will be caught. In addition ,the four tenons at the corner can firm up our device.</p>

  <p>For the materials of our device ,We use Acrylic Sheet or balsa.The fomer is transparent and safer than glass. The latter is cheap ,light ,and easy to cut.

Hello everyone, my name is Chao-Di Chang, and I am a master student from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan R.O.C. I am the modeling assistant of the 2014 NCTU_Formosa iGEM team. This is my first time being a member of iGEM team, cause my major is bioinformatics researching which is pretty far from synthetic biology and genetic engineering. However, the biological background of synthetic biology in iGEM is really easy to understand which means the idea of our project; the innovation is the most important thing in iGEM project. So all the iGEMers work really hard to perform their delicate biological device once a year, and I am so proud to be a part of it.

Teaching modeling skill to our team is really interesting. Using bioinformatics tool to predict or to analyze their result is always a huge challenge to almost all the biological researchers. Not to mention they are just undergraduate students. Therefore, it can also train me how to find the easiest way to make all students understand how to use modeling technics to enhance their research property. I also learn a lot in this iGEM project. I hope this year we can be greeted with loud applause.

But, I'm overwhelmed with teamwork and experienced the power of it. In our team, I worked with group 3 to assemble biobricks. Also, I maintained the wiki site and NCTU_Formosa iGEM team pages. My hobbies are playing table tennis, swimming, and mountain climbing, watching movies and playing the Chinese fiddle. NCTU Formosa 2014 TEAM18.jpg Hello everyone, my name is Chao-Di Chang, and I am a master student from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan R.O.C. I am the modeling assistant of the 2014 NCTU_Formosa iGEM team. This is my first time being a member of iGEM team, cause my major is bioinformatics researching which is pretty far from synthetic biology and genetic engineering. However, the biological background of synthetic biology in iGEM is really easy to understand which means the idea of our project; the innovation is the most important thing in iGEM project. So all the iGEMers work really hard to perform their delicate biological device once a year, and I am so proud to be a part of it. Teaching modeling skill to our team is really interesting. Using bioinformatics tool to predict or to analyze their result is always a huge challenge to almost all the biological researchers. Not to mention they are just undergraduate students. Therefore, it can also train me how to find the easiest way to make all students understand how to use modeling technics to enhance their research property. I also learn a lot in this iGEM project. I hope this year we can be greeted with loud applause.
